DbFixIt

- a brand new utility program from Pimlico Software that detects and repairs errors in Palm OS databases. Fixes problems such as unexpected application crashes, conduits that hang, wasted space in data files, etc.

Prior and smaller footprint versions of DateBk6:

DateBk5 - a more compact version of DateBk6 that offers much of the functionality of DateBk6 in a footprint that is around 250k smaller than DateBk6.

DateBk4 - a more compact version of DateBk5 that offers much of the functionality of DateBk5 in a footprint that is around 180k smaller than DateBk5.

DateBk3 - available in V-1.5, 2.1 and 3.1 all of which offer varying degrees of functionality based upon sizes ranging from 123k to 285k.

WeekView - a compact (51k) application that offers just the popular second weekly view of the DateBk application.

Both PCWeek and InfoWorld pointed to the improved Datebook application as a significant plus for Handspring devices! Pen Computing's October '99 review of the Visor said: "Hats off to Handspring for recognizing a good thing and getting it [Datebk3] for their product".Handspring was acquired by PalmOne in 2003. If you miss Datebook+, just pick up DateBk3 which is virtually identical to Datebook+ or look at its more powerful successors, DateBk4 and now DateBk5. If you upgraded to a Treo650 and miss the features in the Treo600 calendar application, you have come to the right place! DateBk3 is almost identical to the Datebook+ application you were using, although you will want to look at DateBk5 which takes advantage of the hi-rez screen, color and other features of the Treo650 device.

Proceeds from the sale of Pimlico's shareware products go to the Dewar Wildlife Trust, Inc. a 501(c)(3) and Georgia non-profit corporation which the Dewars established to fund various wildlife conservation projects including the Dewar's own Gorilla Haven project which is building an AZA certified sanctuary for Western Lowland Gorillas on 324 acres in the North Georgia Mountains -- the first resident - Joe - arrived at Gorilla Haven in April, 2003.
